Barb and I just got back from our OBX vacation. Took the traps w us. Found a lot of storm damage all along the outer banks. Went to a local tackle shop in Duck and the owners told us we could crab in the development we were staying in. Found the dock and put in 15 traps. Ended up with 18 crabs in about 3 hours. Slow compared to what we are used to in the Wye River in Md. Cooked up crab balls for everyone at the beach house. N.C. crabs taste real good!!!!  Sounds like crabbing is slow in Md. since the storms. We are putting the boat back in the water (pulled for Irene) and will try to report on some good crabs back home.

You all have been through a lot and Barb and I were happy to donate some money to the local families in the OBX. Hang in there and we will see you next year! Wink
