First pic is the water at Knapp's Narrows.  After heading north, it just got worse to the point of looking like chocolate milk in the Poole's Island area.  The debris was just amazing and I'm sure we sharpened and shined the wheels a good bit also.

You said it was bad when I talked to you on the phone, but I didn't think it was going to be that bad.... Wow..  Suprised he even went out with the tour, did you have a full boat?

Chris

It was nerve racking at times.  Just the time you thought you were clear of it, you were boxed in again and nothing sounds worse than something hitting the bottom of the boat before it hits the wheel.

12 on the boat.  We didn't see a thing until the bay bridge and got worse as you got further north.  Poole's island looked like a mine field had gone off.

I would have been a little freaked out, espcially when that whole tree passed buy.  You should have grabbed that blue barrel for line storage! Grin

I still have a white barrel for line storage.   Grin  The stuff you saw floating.  From coolers to propane tanks and everyhting in between.  I was just glad that the life vest floating was empty.  Wink

I always get a sickening feeling when I see an empty life preserver floating by.

I had a terrible feeling 20 miles out on Lake Erie years ago when found a life vest that was NOT empty. Lashed him to the port side until CG came and retrieved him. He had been in the water for a long time, not a pretty sight.

Another storm may puch all that trash to shore or farther off shore. It will be a while before safe to run WOT.
