Well, Fall is here in southern new england. Nice cool weather. October through the beginning of January is my favourite time to lobster. Fishing is still a little slow but will pick up as the days shorten and the water continues to cool. I checked my traps on sunday. In addition to a few bugs I got a nice dinner of winter flounder. My friends and I had the lobster while we watched the awesome New England Patriots beat san diego. Two games and Tom Brady has thrown for almost a 1000 yards already!!  Smiley Any how one of my traps was poached but the rest were fine. Such is life lobstering in the ditch. I caught about 30 lobsters of which about 20 were eggers or shorts. I plan on having the flounder for supper tonight.

Any chance you could send a few to Delaware. I like crabs and crabbing but it would be nice to catch some lobster as easily as we can catch crabs.

Nice Rob. Is by-catch in the pots legal, flounder I mean. Saw a few posts this year about people catching fish in their crab traps. Keeping of said fish was illegal. Just curious. Vick got concussed as they're saying Sun. night in Atlanta. Hope he's not gonna be like our older hero, McChoke.

Not me, unless, of course, lobsters are involved.

I agree, but Greenies are one of the best baits for Striper.  I always grab some and freeze them until I am ready to use them in the Spring & Summer.
