Hit the 5th Avenue pier in Seaside Park about at about 9:15pm. I figured the incoming was just starting so I should pick up some decent blue claws. 2+ hours produced only about 6 keepers
- but I only kept 3 as the ones that are 4.5-5 inches really don't even produce enough meat to keep..so I'll gnaw on some crabs with lunch tomorrow.
I used 8 handlines with chicken thighs and it was RIGHT after the thunderstorms hit the area - so that might have had something to do with it...but I'm not sure how people have been doing there the last few weeks.
