The new Inlet on Hatters Island was on Fox News this morning, looks like the bridge crew from Baltimore are coming along on the temp bridge.......We might be able to crab there this winter after all......

Gene, Is there any tide running through there? Do you think it will add salt and current to the Albemarle and Currituck? I checked it out about a month ago and thought it would do the area good if it opens up some and gets some water flowing.

In the next couple weeks I am moving to my new waterfront house nears Powells Point and have been researching everything about the area. I have always been an upper Chesapeake kinda guy. Any input is appreciated.

I think it has to help, anytime more clean water is added it has to help. There is a strong flow through there at times.

Gene,

what are you bored on your cruise that you are on here talking about home..... versus exploring the Caymen Islands and walking around the big cruise ship with your type 1 PFD around your neck... that might be your ticket to becoming a bigger chick magnet  laugh laugh
