This weekend nothing went as plan,  Had to move my son to NYC , Long honey to-do list, etc  But some how I ended up with free time sunday am  Of course low tide was 8:30 am  so we decide to wait it out not even leave the house until 8:30. to catch the incoming
Got to the ramp at 9:30 am  was done crabbing at 10:30  Had only 17 traps baited with chicken necks  First run we had 25 keepers  We had one trap with 4 keepers  Had a bushel in an hour  Largest crabs was just over 7" It was one of the few females we kept  Most crabs were 5-6 inches no males over 6"  The females we kept were all over 6"   Snapper blue were bitting on each cast.  Looked like stripers were working the sod banks  It was a great day to be on the water Grin

I kinda had a feeling they would be up there when we talked last week, you probally had the place all to yourself. Sad

Poor jimmies... were probally starving till you showed up! Cry     Very kind of you to give them a decent meal for their last.  laugh
