Ok...so im unsure what to do from this point.  Ive and caught the crabs and took the claws off and cleaned  out lungs etc. My question is can I freeze first ? Or do I need too cook the meat first than freeze?

Thanks!

Were they cleaned first? Or did you freeze whole?  Or does it matter?

I always clean first and I've always frozen them right after.  Everyone has said they taste fresh and couldn't tell they were frozen.

Sweet!  Thanks! I am going to try that.  I caught some yesterday and cleaned and cooked, than froze.  I am going back out shortly when high tide comes in and I think I will try cleaning and freezing raw!  I appreciate your input!

Clean and freeze is OK..I do it all the time.In my opinion it's only good for the sauce and I can tell it has been frozen. The meat is a little mushy but the flavor is certainly there.I also like to stuff and bake, but only with FRESH
