Rented out of Oceanic again, hoping to capitalize on the recent good reports.  Unfortunately, not as good as last week.  Got on the water at dead high tide, and slim pickins.  Picked up a bit as the tide went out, but it was a chore.  Smaller than last week, and far fewer.  Might have done better if I waited for the tide to turn; maybe there will be some other reports for those that stuck it out.

Water was relatively calm, which was nice.  Also, the marina gave me a second anchor, so I could keep the boat in place.  MUCH easier to crab when the lines don't tangle.

My last trip of the year.  With all of the rental fees I pay, I think it might be time to take the plunge and buy a boat.

I went out at the same time. Was leaving the dock when your were arriving. Caught about 30 myself. Size was so so. Lots of females, ratio 5 to 1. VL
