been crabbing for years without them n most of the time i come off the water with my 2 bushels but it may take all day is it just easier to rebait n net crabs or is there other advatages to using them thanks Jeremy

I did not seem to catch many more with than without but on days when they are sppoky I think it helps. I like the fact that when I tighten or drag the line I don't cut necks off.

snoods are the best way to go!  alot easier to bait and unbait.  Also dipping the crabs is better by the way the crab is hanging down off the trotline.  just my opinion

I do perfectly fine without snoods. I cant justify the added expense to switch over.

IMO a straight line with skip knots is pretty gravy to bait/unbait.

i was skeptic about snoods but once i used it i loved it. snoods is the way to go easier to bait, crab, unbait. just watch when your packing your line and take your time, it could be one [Sam Hill] of a loop if you rush it
