Last year, my kid and I stopped crabbing for the year when school started.  Today is the first day of stone crab season, and now my mouth is watering at the thought of some crab meat for dinner (don't worry, I know not to kill stone crabs).  Is Daytona Beach any good for crabbing off of docks this time of year?

I don't know about Daytona Beach but here on Coastal Georgia the best time to crab is in the fall. The crabs are "fatting up" for the winter. Like Florida here on Coastal Georgia we crab all winter.
