Got my first Glock today. Right out of the box she is smoking... First 3 shot were a little low/left but then the index finger figured it out. Next 11, 1 9 and 10 10s. 100 rounds without a glitch. Love this 19..... Should'a bought more ammo.

In related news Jack bought a decorative sign for his front lawn today.
"Attention Trespassers (including door-to-door meat salesmen): This property now features a Glock."

Jack, i've owned a glock model 17 for quite some time and have not one bad experience with it. it will feed just about anything from hardball to teflon to hollow points and never miss a beat. great firearm.

curious if you have had any issues with the gen 4 19. its a different gun(than the gen 3) and is getting a rep for being sensitive to cheap ammo. I fired 180 rounds before my first fte. i was using 115g fmj winchester white box. have had no issues with 147g jhp. yes lots a fun

I saw a U-tube thing where a guy could make them FTE almost every cycle by "limp wristing" it. I have put a few houndred rounds thru my G3 19 without a problem. Had the young Son of a friend shoot it the other day and dag if didn't stovepipe on his second round.

i got the gun bc of its rep and the supposed improvements, and it would be used by l wife and kids. they are better shots than I, mine left the factory 8/11 with the latest spring? after my initial post i saw on the internet many issues on what was once a near perfect gun for so many. what i can say is that the ejects are irregular and often come at u, i ducked and deflected a few off the ball cap. with low grade ammo, which apparently the gun wasn't designed for. ill shoot more after deer season, gun is fun not sure if its worthy of a recall.

My new Beretta is made pretty good. Works just as good shooting 7/8oz up to 1 7/8 oz. The only difference I notice is recoil. They say you can go 10,000 shots without cleaning it before preformance is effected, but I clean it about every third time I use it. I'd say I put 500-750 shells through it so far. And you can't beat the "float the fourth" advantage.

My swag is you have hit the nail on the head. I have a older .380 auto that is the most pickyest gun I have even seen when it comes to feeding it.

Yeah... I would never CC a auto until this one. Will still go with my GP100 in the winter but put my .38s+p away in favor of the g19. The g19 is easy and comfortable to CC with a "Skycop" Hollister. Did CC the .38s+p this past weekend due to the need for "deep" CC.
