I'm starting to feel ill already sick2.....I don't understand the whole protest thing....I guess that means I would fit right in. Grin By May the softcrabs should be on the grass flats too. I hope you hurry up and buy that house down there for us....there is just too much fun to be had to cover it all in one day!!! If you need a mortgage for it, I can help you out with that!!!!
I was watching that video in dockside talk. I thought it works for them, it could work for us Cool. I would love to try soft crabbing sometime. That's something I've never done. I will keep that mortgage in mine.

Seeing a deer in water is a rare event, my dad always tells the story of seeing someone throw a grappling hook at a buck back in the early 70's behind Hog Island in the Narrows. Can you say Redneck.

Wish the proper authorities were around for these events. I'm still stuck on trying to drown a deer.....and dragging it under by boat no less. I'm a die-hard hunter, believe me. I would never entertain that. I love and respect the animal.

I guess just like with humans there are a few explorers among them who venture into the unknown to see what out there.

Chris,
I was thinking the same thing..... that is usually when a buck will be crazy enough to swim the bay or adjoining rivers to get to a hot doe.... sure isn't cause it was warm out and he was trying to cool off with a dip... I have seen two bucks out in the main bay swimming from kent island back to the western shore over the past 10-12 years.. thought there were big bushy sticks in the water til I realized they were antlers....   laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh
