Capt. TW-crabwife & I agreed (could be first time all year). These were the fullest, biggest, best tasting crabs this year.  Claws too hard to open with a knife, first time I've beat on claws for years.

traps, most crabs were in about 15 feet, dropped 1st trap bout 10:30, pulled last trap bout 2:00, and yes.. we were using chicken necks

i was thinking about winterizing the boat this weekend...the weather says it might hit 70 next tues...think they'll still be there ?

Man they nice. I did some crabbing in the wye this time last year and they were the best tasteing crab all year. They were full of fat and sweet and buttery Mmm mm. I wish i had this weekend free, i would be on the hunt for some of my own. Thanks for the report and great pics..

Geez ,sorry I put my boat away now,I would love one more day of crabbing,I went to the Wye a few weeks ago and got nothing,thought the season was over
