I got my kayak's electrical issues squared away. As I suspected, it was a bad kill switch. I'm gonna try my best to give the trotline one more run for the season. I plan on being prepared with plenty rope for my anchor & control lines to crab deeper than I have in the past. I've been out on the kayak twice this week to do some fishing. Wednesday night at Kent Narrows, and last night we trolled up and down Spa Creek. Give me one more shot at the crabs...

Off-season modification will include me constructing a LiFePo4 (Lithium Ion) battery pack. This will lighten up the load aboard my yak. I will also buy another 300' line, bringing my total length to 600'.

If I am able to get out as I intend next weekend, I'll be sure to report.
