Boy what a difference two weeks makes . When I heard the weather forcast for today, 62 and sunny, I thought why not. I figured I'd soak up some sun, smoke a couple of cigars, and catch a couple dozen crabs to eat while I watch the Eagles beat the Bears tonight. The sun was great and the cigars were awesome but I wont be eating any crabs tonight. Two weeks ago when I went to Matts Landing I couldn't pull them in fast enough. I caught to many to even keep. Today I only caught 2 crabs that would have been big enough to keep. When I went two weeks ago the water temp. was 62 degrees and today 55. It's something how that 7 degree change would make that big of a difference. Anyway I hope next year will be as good as this one has been.

It funny how a day or two makes all the diffence in the world.  I agree it is time to put away the traps and look forward to next year  Best of luck next year
