Crabs were on!  Only took the males,  2 bushels in about 5 hours. From 5 to 8 inches!  No one else on the water at all!

Good question TAJ it showed up as a new post ,but it is dated 8/24/11.I was curious I've never crabbed the Little Assawoman ,doubt I will this year,gonna give the Indian River one more shot this year,I'm familiar with that,might try the Little Assawoman next year

I've never crabbed there,are 8 inch crabs common there ? We rarely even get 7 inchers in the Indian River.

thought so, but I wanted to make sure. Thats a nice catch? I am interested too are there many 8 inchers? Anything over 6 is a monster in the IR

About a half dozen were 8" and I was catching 6.5s the whole time.  I didnt think it was going to be good at all but gave it a shot and was syked I did. Hope to get out there again in the next few days.
