I don't know if calling or baiting and waiting would work better. If anyone has any experience hunting coyotes, I would like to hear their thoughts!

I read an article about the baiting on field and stream and they acted like it works. As the season goes on they place less and less bait luring them out earlier and earlier. The article said its frozen trimmings packed in buckets. A guy I talked to about shooting them  advised that if you do bait/call them you may have to move after each shot and be quick on the trigger naturally.

pa did stock coyotes back in the mountainous regions of the state in the 1950's and 60's. my grandfather was a warden till 1985 and said he was part of the original stocking of 4males and 4 females in bradford and potter counties. if anyone wants to hunt these critters let me know. i have a total of 900 acres to hunt in potter county and in 4 years we have shot over 120 yotes and have won the potter shoot out once with a 78lb yote.we usually hunt them in feb and march as it seems to be our best months. if interested let me know and you have to be a decent shot to about 400yrds.
