I just finished mounting this pair of geese for a friend of mine to give to her father as decoys for Christmas.

It's illegal to SELL them in Maryland. I can't find anything about using them.

You are right on Mikie. This is a federal law....Making them for sale wound in essence bring back market hunting. You can however mount your own or have them mounted for you and use them.

There are several. Most of them have gone to newer full bodies with the flocked heads though. Mounts are great decoys but have to be handled with care. You can't just toss them around like you can the ones that are on the market now days.

Sell em the base for 40 bucks, and just throw the goose in with it.

Most of the game wardens and feds I have encountered don't have much of a sense of humor.
