how is it you were off from the dock by 3:25am?  are you allowed to take boats out from Schnaitman's before they open  Huh       Huh
only the ones without motors, if you need one with a motor you will have to wait till they open.

It would be a good idea to carry extra batteries and spare bulbs.  A couple of $$ is better than $$$$$$$$ for a fine.

Nice job for a couple of Nu Yorkers!  Grin

well I'd really like to hit the river early before they open, so I guess I'm stuck with a rowboat.  Undecided     let's hope by September the crabs aren't too far from the dock.  Tongue

Me and Crabstadude will be hitting the Wye early on friday 8/5, should be a great day on the water with Dave Redlion  and his crew nearby! we're planning on being in our spot about 4am and getting outta there early if the crabbing goes like the last few trips, (full bushel + early) hopefully we're gone before noon,  we're heading to the beach house in NJ after, so there is no need to stay all day when we can still get some needed zzzzzzzzzz's  Cool Cool Cool Cool on the beach and then have crabs for dinner, Grin Grin Grin Grin We will post reports & some action pics when we return. Ahhhhhhhhh  Life is Good! Grin Grin Grin Grin

CrabstaDude, Sorry for the late reply I don't get down this way too often. I'm from the Norwalk CT area, Land of No Crabs! They still aren't here yet though they are in towns next to me. Then as soon as they are in we get a cold wind and they are gone again for another year! Angry

Well Bogman, maybe you might consider taking a weekend trip down to MD and catch some real crabs. You would love it, especially if you got some vacation time. When was the last time you seen some 8's in CN. Be happy to hook up with you. Another out of towner. laugh
