East Providence was good at the end of summer and by the Hurricane Barrier worked out well, they are a bit dirty but tasted fine.

I have a hankering for crab too, but just checked the water temperature on the NOAA site and the water is still too cold (low 50's).

I have a list of about 21 places in Rhode Island, if you had to recommend one place in Rhode Island to go - that you think would be the best, where would it be?

I haven't had any luck until June when the water temperature was at least 60 deg. Because this year has been unsually warm, I figure about Mid to late May.

I'm not sure of docks, but be careful, blue crabs are to be taken only by Rhode Island residents. Just watch out. It's the scary law! Oh no!
