Harsh Winter? where? I know the meat of winter is still to come but jeez by this time last year i had already dug out 2 or 3 times. It might be early this year if February doesn't act up. Which would be nice since the hurricanes and rain cut out alot of what should have been good crabbing in August and September.

Water temp midbay at the end of Dec. 2011 was 47 degrees, last year same time was 37 degrees, a mild winter and bay temps above 45 really will help...
