No doubt the hurricane did not serve the river well.....and I agree the river never really did rebound. BUT the river will recover. The fall and winter so far has been very mild (some folks had some VERY GOOD early Fall catches) and if that continues I suspect we'll see a very active, productive, and potentially early spring! Even if the winter does begin to turn for the worse, and I suspect it will on occasion, but as long as a long hard freeze doesn't sustain, I believe that'll work to our advantage! I did not sleep in a Holiday Inn Express however.....so YMMV!
