FP  I know what you mean by they look like tongue but that is the inside of the mouth where the cheek meets the lips.  Sometimes I've even got some mouth muscle in the cuts I've gotten.

Me neither.  I don't know this as fact but I would bet all those "points" are there to increase surface area for salivia production since they eat mostly grass.

I read somewhere that bull lips aren't actual lips, they are pieces of meat cut from the bull's face.

There aren't any actual "lips" involved. All of the one's I've ever had were the patch of meat off of the throat just below the mouth/nose/snout. They're usually around 6"x6", about 1/2" - 3/4" thick and include the hide. What you see in the picture is actually hair.

I agree i got 10lbs last year to try them and my dad said he wasnt touchin em. They sure arent like babbi's lips. They didnt catch well at all either but i only tried them once.
