The vixon took a Hornet at about 40yds looking for a wounded rabbit. A friend took the Dog with some "heavy shot", looking for a sqeaker!

I had 2 real nice ones pass by me on Friday morning.  Was going to take a shot but saw a doe coming in from the other direction and decided I wanted her instead.  They will still be there after January.   Grin

Thanks guys, sure is alot of fun......and 9 out of 10 farmers welcome you back, when they see some reds harvested.

called 2 more in today.........55yds broadside on top a sand mound and flat out missed with my hornet. Re set and called some more, heard something behind me and turn around to se another looking at me, couldnt get a shot.

Super exciting if none of you tried it, you should.

yeah your right. no snow anytine soon. And ty that was our best year ever. Bout half to calling and half to trapping. Grey was trapped and all coons were shot over blue ticks

It's amazing how much getting rid of a few foxes you start seeing turkeys and rabbits again.We have Coyote sightings down our way.I think I saw one Coyote but it was very far away.
