ITS ON PRIVATE LAND ONLY
THE BIGEST OPONENTS ARE THE CHURCHGOERS,
IMHO IF YOU NEED TO BE IN CHURCH, THEN GO................
PEOPLE SHOULD BE ABLE TO DO AS THEY PLEASE ON THEIR PRIVATE LAND
THE "OUTDOOR LOVERS" ARE COMLAINING THAT THEY CANT EVEN GET ONE DAY WITHOUT HUNTERS BIENG IN THE WOODS,
WELL IF YOUR ON MY LEASE ON SUNDAY YOU'RE THE ONE TRESSPASSING,
WE GET 4 MONTHS  YOU GET THE REST

We hashed this out in MD for sometime, and we finally got some Sundays, mostly deer....and all on private land....but, I'll take it.
MD Farm Bureau was the major stakeholder in opposition of it here in MD.

I would think it would be a violation of your 1st amendment rights, to have a law saying you can not hunt on Sundays for religious reasons.

If Delaware allowed Sunday hunting, I'd probably not drink so much Saturday nights.

Christian Farmers Outreach is the group leading the opposition to Sunday hunting in Baltimore County. It's likely we will never see Sunday hunting in Balto. Co.

If there's any truth to that, that definitely is violating the first amendment!

Umm ChrisS...  The horse riders and bird watchers need to talk to you.  Thats the excuse I've always heard for Delaware.

I agree with Crab guy, we get 4 months for a yearly fee plus hunting gear taxes. they get the whole year, 8 of it alone and pay nothing.

If this is on private properties only, I would think its really none of the horse riders' or birdwatchers' business......they're not even a stakeholder in this.....they already control what goes on, on their property.....no right to try and control other peoples' property.......but, a majority of the riders are the biggest trespassers out there.....because they're on a horse, they can ride where-ever they want.

We had someone on a donkey screw up our hunt last Friday evening. They think they should  have no boundries when the are riding and that their horses don't hurt anything. I have seen them ride right thru standing beans and knock the [Sam Hill] out of them and then proclaim that they didn't hurt anything. One of the local hunt clubs lost their right to ride on any of our ground many years ago due to the same arrogance. BTW the look on their faces when you call their horses donkeys is priceless!

"Today, the state House Natural Resources Subcommittee tabled Senate Bill 464 for the rest of this current legislative session.  SB 464, sponsored by state Senator Ralph Northam (D-6), would have allowed hunting on private land and public waterways on Sundays."
