As reported by:
http://www.foxbaltimore.com/newsroom/top_stories/videos/wbff_vid_11845.shtml
A husband and wife from western Maryland have been charged with poaching deer.
Maryland Natural Resources police say 31-year-old Christopher Porter faces a variety of charges including five counts each of spotlighting with a weapon, hunting deer during closed season, hunting at night and shooting from or across a public roadway. He's also accused of reckless endangerment and contributing to the condition of a child.
Sgt. Brian Albert, a Natural Resources police spokesman, says Porter fired at as many as 13 deer and kept at least four carcasses. Police believe Porter left behind the deer he didn't kill.
His wife, 26-year-old Ina Porter, has also been charged with spotlighting, hunting at night and contributing to the condition of a child. The Porters were arrested at their Oldtown home on Saturday.

I hope these people weren't hunting for food, that would be terirble....Having to do that to provide for your family.
If thats the case, which it appears may be...considering the time of year (dropping antlers) and the quality of antlers or lack of in that area, they most likley were't trophy hunting (details on what sex were shot).......after their trial, the NRP could probaby help them with where to get venison legally, or provide contacts to Crop damaging farmers who would be able to donate to them, what they take under crop damage.

Looks to me as if he was the plantiff in that abuse charge. Not the defendant.

The one on 08/2010 he is the defendant - his wife was the plaintiff. looks like he also likes to trout fish in the closed season and keep more than the limit...
