You should give them to your friends.
Maybe your friends from the internet.
Perhaps guys on the BCA.

ray, any interest in a fifteen pound spool of stainless steel wire. I use it to make the eyes on the inline sinkers - you can see it in the pictures
I use 14 or 16 gauge copper wires to make the eyes on the tear drop sinkers - don't remember which but it's easy to find out
I really don't big enough stainless to need .045....thanks anyway.

if you are melting down lead and making your own weights make sure you are in a well ventilated area.. lead fumes are higly toxic.. I use to melt down all my own Black powder ammo.. especially when I use to shoot NSSA Civil war muskets... took like 7 lbs of pure lead to make a 100 minie balls.... but a lot cheaper than buying them made.. also if you are using any of it for black powder should be pure lead not a mix or alloy..... as it will ruin your black pwder rifle barrel...
old rule of thumb was if it is soft enough to scratch with your finger nail it is soft enough to use for bullets..... alot of folks used wheel weights etc and they are not pure enough lead to use... IMHO... alot of fishing weights were not pure enough for bullets.. but if things go bad Like Gene says.. you gonna need whatever you got on hand.....

imho - wheel weights don't weight as much as pure lead, are harder because it is an alloy, have a tighter melt/pour temparature. you can tell wheel weight sinkers as they stay shiney and not dull gray
