Nice photo.  Smiley Looking forward to seeing the photo of your catch later this week.

BTW, just checked the water temperature where I crab near Morgan's Point off of Trinity Bay and the water temperature is 62.2 degrees.

For some reason that boat reminds me of Uncle Jed's truck when they moved to Beverly.  Not a whole lot of room left to move around.  Good Luck and smooth sailing.

Well I gotta work Wednesday.  Get off Thursday morning.  Probably will go out then.  Drop more traps, weather permitting.

Come on down.  Catch a parade Wednesday night and a boat ride on Thursday.  Life's good.

I like the extra deck you've got on the stern of that boat

that's pretty neat

Two different ways to find where I live.  One is weather.com  type in zip code 70062.  the other is map quest.  My address is 2008 Iowa Ave. Kenner La.

As you will see I live very close to the airport between the lake and the Mississippi river.

Still very early in the season.  Most of the big males are still burried.  I'll be happy with 70 pounds of crabs on a week set.

At least you're out setting traps. I think you're the very first person on this entire site that's actually crabbing.

Weather wise, we've had a mild January and I'm hoping for a mild February so the water warms up faster than normal so I can crab off the banks and piers sooner.
