I've had that happen.  CaptRon told me it's got something to do with the shellfish or in my case the crab parts I added.

Been there, done that.....it's like adding raw oysters to what ever you are cooking, minus the flavor.

Been there, done that.....it's like adding raw oysters to what ever you are cooking, minus the flavor.

Huh When I've added raw oysters to stuff they tightened right up like they were steamed.  Never had my oysters get slimy.

I see what you're sayin now.  My okras seemed to almost disappear.  But yea, little raw oysters is a good way to put it.

I put the okra with the onions and other vegetables and fry it off. This helps keep it from getting slimy.
