  this  was in yesterdays   asbury  park press  a local paper
     well he is  at  it again  the pres  wants  to close  the marine research  lab  at sandy hook  nj 
  as  a money saving effort -  the amount  is $ 200,000  and  move  the people  to other locations
     it  seems  like a very small  to try and save  when millions  are wasted  every   day   just  my rant  about it

He will cut important items and continue to prove he is a fiscal idiot while funding the new ACORN and his other criminal friends. I didn't vote for him....

Yeah and my son graduates from Monmouth this year as a marine biology major and these are the things that worry me. He wants to work with research programs to get masters and improve marine life but politics will be a big problem to deal with.

He needs to get a job in the oil sector disproving how bad offshore drilling is for marine life.  Thats where the good government money is.

many years ago, i had to run the boss's boat up there because they were lookin' for donations and offered him the red carpet treatment... at the time they had a big grant to research what water quality would be needed for the new aquarium to be built at coney island......they used tanks to see how fish would react to different temp.,salinity,oxygen and so forth....very impressive until i question why they were using ''killies'' for their testing.....the person giving the tour said ''because we can get a lot of them''   that's when i dropped out of the group and went back to the boat to sneek a beer............i take all marine research with a grain of salt [and a beer]
