Owe'Malley trying to put his hands in our pockets again. He has got to go before he bankrupts everyone in the state.

OweMally doesn't care what kind of a mess he leaves this state in. He has his sights set on OweBama's residence. If someone isn't worried about what shape we are in now on the federal level wait until this a-hole gets a whack at it!

This is actually a "fisheries" bill, I dont believe Omuttley has anything to do with it.
Also, plan on paying more for your hunting licenses as well.

They never take in to account the road tax collected on fuel for boats at service stations either.

You can get that back at tax time. Call the sales tax division to find out how

Pleasure boaters can't get a tax refund in MD. They can in VA. Thanks for reminding me. The Dragon gave me the receipts Feb. 1st. They are still laying on my desk.

I fully expect Maryland to start taxing the air in my trailer tires at some point in time.

Already have been. When was the last time you could pump air in your tire for free (OK wise guys, I know most use their own means for air, but) when out on the road somewhere. Don't you think that a % of the revenue from that Air Pump, which is at most gas stations, doesn't make its way back to the state?
Remember when it was Free!

My boat is under 16' and under 7 hp, so I don't pay a dime right now. If I have to pay $50 now because it's by length, I hope I can increase HP to over 7. I was going to build a larger boat at some point, but I guess I'll stay below 16' for sure. I have always stayed below 16' and 7hp to save money since they tax me on my boats twice anyway. I pay taxes on the materials when I buy them, then they tax me on it's "worth" after I put my time and knowledge into making something out of the materials. My other option is to not use a motor, stay under 16' and not register at all. Bigger sail?

Bigger sail? They will tax you on the cloth and everything else you use to make the sail....I think they are hoping that we just throw in our towels and hand it all over. If that were to happen then where would they get funds to give away? At some point there will be nothing left to spend from anywhere. What will they do then?

It used to be, put some money in the piggy bank to pay for those unexpected rainy day expenses, but now, it's pouring and the whole check goes to the unexpected and I live off the piggy bank. They will tax you on the cloth and everything else you use to make the sail....I think they are hoping that we just throw in our towels and hand it all over. If that were to happen then where would they get funds to give away? At some point there will be nothing left to spend from anywhere. What will they do then?
You got that right, they will tax the cloth.

I don't care, as long as they leave the fees for out of state crabbing license alone It will be $100 or more if they use the same rate as boat registrations If they do well just call & buy a bushel & save money .

The statments in the article i seen said DNR needs this money for channel dreging, buoy maitanince and icebreaking all which i thought was the responsiblity of the corp of engineers and USCG. Also if they get these changes o malley will use this $$ for the general fund just like the highway funds he stole to give away.
