a steal at $40.  A lot of private ramps, you'd pay that to use twice

Is the 20 dollars to 40 dollars jump For both locals and out of staters.  Or is it more for the out of staters?  It is worth 40 bucks but I think they should put the dumpster back for our trash.  Instead of the 2 little trash cans they have there the last 2 years.  A little warning for those going there, dont launch before 4am. or you can expect a ticket when you get back.

Why launch before 4am if your not commercial?  Or even if you are commercial.

[/quote  Well Mr. Ray most would rather get the best parking places.  Some like myself used to have about an hour boat ride before I decided to just keep my boat there.  As far as the commercial guys go, they are already crabbing at 4am.  I was just giving a heads up on that cause I seen alot of tickets written there.  My question was about the ramp fee being doubled.  Leaving before 4am. was just some friendly advice!

even though it went up this year.. it is still a good deal.. like the other's say use a private ramp twice and you spent that much.. and to be honest since they re did the ramp at the wye from 2 into 4 ramps it is super nice to launch from... and helped on volume of users so you don't wait no where near as long..... it is a nice facility........ I am more worried about the price of gas as it is the most expensive it has ever been at this time of the year.. and with the unrest in the middle east and Iran / Isreal.. along with the sanctions against Iran you an expect it to go way up..between that and speculators and then the change over for the refineries for the summer formula..... and 3 refineries closing down in the east coast.. I heard today worse case could shoot prices to $200 a barrel of crude and low test could be $6.50 a gallon worse case.. that would be if Isreal bombs Iran nuclear facilities.... they said best case it might only be $4.50 a gallon.. gee what a deal....  regardless that is gonna hurt folks going out as much especially if you have drive a distance etc...let alone the added cost for work commutes etc.... we are all gonna have less in our pockets if this happens.. so and extra $20 bucks for a seasonal ramp permit may be the least of our worries......

When Bush left office, I had perfect eyesight.  Since Obama has been in office, my eyesight has deteriorated to 20/60.  Obviously, Obama has caused this, too.

No Im not part of the violators club.  Just figured with the increase in the ramp permit they might be able to put the dumpster back but recon those days are over. As for me my moto is leave no trace that I was there.  If I see some trash floating down the river, i pick it up!  I get rewarded by the crab Gods.

I would love to get there at midnight and shoot rays for a few hours with lights then go crabbing at daybreak.
