Plus I lost my gloves and got bit good. Twice.
One bite went clean thru my little finger.

Catch any bears? They could do some real damage to an ungloved hand.

Ouch! I bet some discouraging words were a-flying over that!
Those gloves are probably in that safe place - the one that's safe from you.
I seem to have one of those "safe places", too - as much stuff as seems to be in it, it must be the size of a barn - you'd think I could find it!

I can only stress on so many things in one day - looks like you're not making the list. Tomorrow isn't looking so hot, either.

Just curious as to what is going on. 2 years ago I did great crabbing. Last year sucked. This year 1 trip was horrible. I thought I heard over the winter that there was a great supply of crabs heading into 2012. Are we in the wrong spots, is it winter dredging or too many commercial pots? Just curious..... I go out with droplines and a couple traps......

Tough day for sure...
Tip: If you can move the motor and you could, tie your paddel (if you have one) to the motor and use it as a tiller handle.

Bummer day. Days like these make you really enjoy the trouble free days. I have had my share of days that could rival yours.
