             Thanks for the info., this must be a northern fish dish, because I am around a lot of seafood and never heard of this. If you ate that many porgies they have to be very good. I will try to find some because now I want some.  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

PEROGIE'S...My husband makes great perogie's with onion's and sauted in butter...his father's recipe....how great is that!

will e-mail the recipe once i beat the old man for the secret. Just kidding, i will get him to write it out and i will send it to you. There are sooo awesome. He always makes a big batch for the church at xmas to sell at there xmas fundraiser.(come to think of it maybe their are being nice to him laugh laugh laugh)

that is just what i did yesterday.  I think I will spend some time with my depth sounder looking for holes and kettles in the river bottom.  i have my best luck crabbing the edges.

I think this forumn is great.

After reading about how we have to change bait.  I tried some turkey.  I could not catch enough.  Unfortunately I left my pots and all at the dock but my hand lines and nets kept me going.

AHHHHHHHHHHH, wonder if there are any Poles who still make real homade perogies?
Wonder if anyone made some crab Perogies. Lets think, butter, onion, on top of crab perogies.
Better get another bushel for the experiment!

1) Last time I used chicken legs.  This time I used a big chicken breast (on the bone).
