Jack,  a couple of big whalers oh lets say 8 1/4".  Maybe a dozen or so.

Bayou Boy,  I use catfish heads and a half of pogie.  Pogie goes quick but the head right now lasting 2 weeks.  Next week I'll dump the old heads and replace them with fresh bait.  Next week bait expense will be $75.

Off to buy some bait.  I'll catch y'all later.

Bayou boy,  Those crabs aren't eating up those pogies. Undecided  Leave them in the bait box and just add a little fresh bait.  Last week I cut my pogies in thirds.  Only used 1 box and a few to bait 223 traps.

Try doing that.  It'll cut your bait expense down.
