a rake is the fastest way to run traps/pots, i have a 20' skiff with one on the bow,cut all my ropes 18 feet[can fish up to about 14 feet of water] traps come up right before the the stern,i set my speed about 5 knots,never touch the throttle till done.I'll post some pics next day or so..

That rig is neat, but I bet it's tuff on pots when crabs are thick...

When you have a consistent water depth that works good. Here we fish from 3-50' feet deep.

If he has the breath to talk the entire time, he's moving too slow. He should be flying through pots with no irons on them. He has a good rhythm but he has alot of wasted time.

dual pullers, 3 men on stern, 1000-1200 traps per day just pulling or 300 loaded and moved with another 500 pulled.
Thats for stone crabs, run all my offshore blue crab traps on longlines, 20 to a line. Takes 11 minutes to pull, dump, bait, load, and rerun those 20.
