I like triangles myself, but then I don't use pots.  Grin

a rake is the fastest way to run traps/pots, i have a 20' skiff with one on the bow,cut all my ropes 18 feet[can fish up to about 14 feet of water] traps come up right before the the stern,i set my speed about 5 knots, never touch the throttle till done.I'll post some pics next day or so..

When you have a consistent water depth that works good.  Here we fish from 3-50' feet deep.

I don't know.  I wasn't there and didn't take that pic.  One of Mr. Breeze's friends.

If he has the breath to talk the entire time, he's moving too slow.  He should be flying through pots with no irons on them.  He has a good rhythm but he has alot of wasted time.

dual pullers, 3 men on stern, 1000-1200 traps per day just pulling or 300 loaded and moved with another 500 pulled.
Thats for stone crabs, run all my offshore blue crab traps on longlines, 20 to a line. Takes 11 minutes to pull, dump, bait, load, and rerun those 20.
