Hi Guys and Gals,
I am planning on purchasing a 20'+ WA or CC in the next month for crabbing and Sandy Hook fishing. I usually trailer my boat down each time and pay to launch. i would like to know if anyone rents a slip on the Navisink. It doesn't need to be fancy. I usually launch at Chris's and would rent a slip from here if they have them. Any idea on the price for the season? If you know of a boat/ trailer for sale that fits my description, send me a post. I'm lookin to keep it under 5G's if I can. Thanks. I would like to keep the boat in the 20 to 24 ft range.

Check Craig's List regarding slips. As the boating season gets closer, you will see a lot of ad's for seasonal dockage. We are out on the South Shore of Long Island and pay 60.00 a foot from April 1st to November 1st. I think that you might have to increase your budget if you are looking for a boat that size with a trailer. Last Sept I picked up a 14' skiff with a trailer and paid 3k. Looking forward to having a lot of fun with that boat this season. I bought it just for crabbing and clamming. The previous owner was nuts and put a 70 hp Suzuki engine on. The skiff flies across the water....lol. We have a lot of marsh land over here, so getting into it shouldn't be a problem with the skiff. I also have a 22' Wellcraft Walkabout that I use for fishing. Just took the shrink wrap off. Only a few weeks until the Flounder season starts. Good luck. If see anything in your price range I will forward you the info.
