Hi all!! I am a student at FSU from south florida. I am an avid fisherman and love crabbing. I have crabbed before and have been wanting to go out on a crab boat around St. Marks ever since I visited for the Stone Crab festival. I would like to lend a hand on a boat pulling traps, running trot lines. I am interested in both blue crabbing and stone crabbing. I would also be interested in shrimping, oystering or clamming. ANY information or help anyone could provide would be greatly appreciate. Thank you!

You might want to try sending RD a pm on here. He's in St. Marks, his wife has had some medical problems lately and he might need some help. Worth a try anyway.

Mikie, I sent him a pm about three or four days ago, maybe that is why he hasn't had a chance to get back to me. You wouldn't happen to have any contact info would you? I appreciate your help! I would love to help, especially given the situation. Thanks again!

I don't have any other info. His e-mail address is in the member section. There are other members on here who know him better than I do, if they feel it's appropriate they may chime in.

His wife is in bad shape and he is not on the internet as often as he used to be.  Give him some time and he'll answer.

Mikie, Mr. Ray III,
Thanks for the information, I appreciate it. Will wait for his reply patiently! Hope everything is ok with RD and his wife.
How have you guys been doing over in Maryland? I actually got to crab there one time in Tilghman Island, what a blast!!! A very nice treat for a south florida guy.

I don't think he's crabbing much right now. You might want to ride down to St Marks and check out Tookes seafood. I think thats the name, just stop at the store and ask.
