Water temp at Lewisetta, VA is 63. 10 degrees warmer than mid to upper bay. That's helpful.

Better clear out the dust bunnies and take down the closed signs. Been a long time since anyone's posted in there. It will be a good first report for HH II in 2012

Straight from the horses mouth. 235 pots on a 3 day soak. Less then a bushel of crab. However, we always start later on the Sound then the guys on the western shore with the deeper water.

Ouch. That must have hurt. Well at least ya got that first day out your system. Now ya just have to let 'em soak for a week and give 'em a try next Tuesday or Wednesday.
I know here that our first 2 weeks or so our traps don't catch that well. I didn't start catching until the grass started to grow on 'em. Some guys didn't even wash their traps from last year and were doing a little bit better than clean traps.
