There's no better, more satisfying feeling then the first time you look at a bushel and can say, "that's all that'll fit". I hope you get the experience a lot this year.

thats why you always need a second license !!!!! laugh laugh

The book on "Understanding MD Crabbing Laws" is finally out.  I think this is just Volume 1.  Grin

Yes, I know what this book is really all about, and it's definately Volume 1 of about 50 volumes.  Grin

I have to disagree.  I felt better the first time I ran out of baskets and room in the boat and could just barely get the boat up on plane.  Now that was a great feeling.

Nope.  I questioned DNR awhile back about this scenario and was told that the answer was no. It's one bushel per license.
They might be right on that one but when asking DNR always get a second opinion  some of those people seem like they never been crabbing or fishing and never open the rules and reg. book

Returned a floating trap/traps to a guy yesterday. He was bragging on working on his second buschel. Then said the traps were his dads. He explained to us that he could catch two buschels because the crab sticker on the boat was not his and he had his own license. Told him we were pretty sure that one person on a boat can not catch more than one buschel no matter what unless he had a commercial license. He told us his brother in law was dnr and patrolled this river and he was in fact correct!  I'll just stick to my one buschel and be happy.
