I really thought I was dreaming when I read this report late last night. Ronster I'm in the process of buying my first boat and was wondering if maybe you can fill me on this great bay and patcong launch sites .

do you make those box traps like that with not top or do you buy them like that? I've been crabbing for years, but never saw them w/o the top. I see that they pack real easy that way!

They come stock without the tops.   They are available from Captain Moose, Captain Bruce and several other sellers here.

Tom, you tell a wicked tale... for a moment I thought Capt. Williecrab had made a reappearance on the site from the old days!  laugh I always enjoyed how he set the scene, and it looks like you have that gift also. I guess nature has to help a little, but keep with the details throughout the season we all enjoy it. Wink

Was a great day with great people. Tom is a class act and has a GREAT set up. What a way to start of the season. The guys told the story very well....so not much to add. Was just an all around great day. I value the time spent out on the water with friends. There is something about being able to hang out after the catch and bs while eating fresh steamed blues. Can you think of much better than that??? Thanks again to Ron and Jayne for opening your place to us...just really great people. It's pretty amazing to think how this forum has brought so many of us together for a lifetime of great memories!! What a blast.

Are they "ZOOMIE" crabs? That's an ominous looking tower in the background.
