Looking to rent a boat and take my daughter out crabbing.  Where to go?  Looks like this Fiday is my only available day to go so hope you all can give me the dirt.  I'm in Bucks County , PA so Jersey is closest!

Where are you looking to rent a boat  You can rent boats in Seaside right over the bridge in the Park section  You can also rent boats in Bayville you have a few choices  When I was down Saturday I saw people right along the Seaside Bridge crabbing they rented their boats in Seaside Good Luck

I would suggest that you consider the closest location to you which would be south jersey.  Since the crabbing in the Delaware bay is the best it's been in  three years, I think you should consider the Beaver Dam & Dividing Creek area.

There are 4 rental in the area, 3 are in one spot the 4th is about 1 1/2 miles away.
Dividing Creek rentals
Downe by the river rentals
Wildlife boat rental
and
Beaver Dam rentals

The first three have boats with motors, Beaver Dam tow you out to the creeks and you row to any other spots you wish to crab, they come out throughout the day and tow you back when you're done.

All three are easy to find, rt.55 south to exit 27 (rt 47, Milliville) take rt 47 to rt 49 turn right, then turn left at the wawa, go about 1/4 mile and turn right on rt 555, about 5 miles bear left at the wye, at take this road till the end.

Turn right for Beaver Dam, or left for the other 3. 

Keep in mind there is nothing else in this area but crabbing, if your daughter would like something more populated, look at some of the spots on the inter-coastal waterways along the ocean, anywhere from Dad's boat rentals by Herefords inlet on north. Good Luck.
