Hi all, I just moved to Hilliard Fl. It is not to far from Jacksonville fl. I am looking for the closest place to take my son crabbing. We can go from a dock or we have a 15' Geenoe and could go that route. Thank you so much in advance...

The Cumberland sound around Fort Clinch State Park is a good place. I think it's about an hours drive from Jacksonville. We had a lot of luck in the waterways and the estuaries near the Fernandina Plaza Historic State Park. Bring LOTS of mosquito repellent.
