Went out and bagged 3/4 bushel. Dividing Creek. We ate good last night. Caught them all in shallow water. Lots of smalls but every trap had at least a 3 piece in them. Good sign for things to come. Majority of crabs were 5 to 5.5. but we did bang about 20 really nice 6 to 6.5's. Bought to finish these off for breakfast right now. ( Recently Modified )

And apparently, the evidence is gone. Ignorance might not be a defense of the law, but it can make you feel better about breaking it. Apologize to the crab gods and they will forgive.

Went out and bagged 3/4 bushel. Cant disclose the location because my dumbness didnt realize that the season doesnt start for us till April 6th. Whatever.... We ate good last night. Caught them all in shallow water. Lots of smalls but every trap had at least a 3 piece in them. Good sign for things to come. Majority of crabs were 5 to 5.5. but we did bang about 20 really nice 6 to 6.5's. Bought to finish these off for breakfast right now.
look out,now you're gonna have guys that "have never broken a law of any kind" bashing you and telling you how wrong you are.

I just looked in the NJ Fishing digest and it states no closed season on crabs. Only season is for crabbers using trot lines or crab pots which requires a license. Here is a link to thesummary sheet. http://www.nj.gov/dep/fgw/pdf/2011/maregsum11.pdf
