Went out and bagged 3/4 bushel.  Dividing Creek. We ate good last night. Caught them all in shallow water. Lots of smalls but every trap had at least a 3 piece in them. Good sign for things to come. Majority of crabs were 5 to 5.5.  but we did bang about 20 really nice 6 to 6.5's.  Bought to finish these off for breakfast right now.  ( Recently Modified )

By that I take it your "undisclosed" location  Shocked Shocked Shocked was actually disclosed laugh laugh laugh, since you CAN crab everywhere else but in the Delaware Bay and tribs begining March 15th.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

And apparently, the evidence is gone.   tongue2

Ignorance might not be a defense of the law, but it can make you feel better about breaking it.  Apologize to the crab gods and they will forgive.

I just looked in the NJ Fishing digest and it states no closed season on crabs. Only season is for crabbers using trot lines or crab pots which requires a license.

Here is a link to thesummary sheet.

Well there you go, two guys who actually read the regs, and don't just scan for details.  And you were going to toss those jimmies because you thought they wouldn't taste right because you belived you'd become that thing thats hated the most by the self-appointed BCA politburo, the scourge of the forum...

Ha.Ha. Im just an honest fellow who THOUGHT he made a mistake. But I did read the fine print while on DUTY tonight. And I know that I didnt brake any laws. Especially after talking to a game warden today. SO everyone on here knows where I crab. But I wasnt gonna post the evidence. So now I will upload some pictures. HA.....  laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh
