Heading to OC this weekend and I'm planning on baiting up one of my pots and throwing it over the pier to see if anything is running down there in the back bay yet.  If so I may take a boat ride with some traps.  Should I get my hopes up?

go to st. martins river or any of the skinny water away form the inlet you should catch some.
