One word-jumping! Set 600 ft trotline baited with steer gut and chicken necks and 16 traps. End result 2 bushel in 4 hours. Nice sized crabs, mixed bag of males and females. Caught 2 sponge crabs also and returned them back to the water, a lil early for them I thought but the water temp is 55 degrees and this year is a lil backwards too. Saw the green jon boat fleet this morning, the must not like the cold mornings lol, didnt seem them til almost 10 o'clock when i was trying to finishing up. good luck everybody absolutely awesome crabbing for march Wink

This is such great news,  Thank you for letting us all know that this year hopefully will be another terrific year!
I'm from Maryland but have a place in Long Neck which is a short hop to the Power Plant.  I move to De for the summer mainly for Crabbing, fishing and the great Rehoth bay boating activities for the GrandChildren.  Can't Wait to start.  To BODKINCRABBER from Anne Arundel County if you need more informaiton just let me know.  When I was new to the area the folks on this website helped me immensley.  I've found that all are considerate and very helpful.

Al, your loyalties change quick.  laugh  The inks not even dry on the deed, is it?  laugh laugh

So let me get this straight.  I live in NJ.  If I buy a house in MD and DE, and take one of my friends from NJ crabbing in either state, I can enjoy the time I'm spending with them, but I have to resent the fact that they're there.  That's right, isn't it?  I think I'm starting to catch on.  This is fun.  Roll Eyes

You probably should have your citizenship removed and forfeit any and all ownership of property in said state.  Plus return to where you came by walking in snow boots uphill through the nastiest marsh mud available.
