I got these on 4-1-12 north of the Benedict bridge in 3-4 feet 4000' chicken in 5 hours...they were small but satisfied a taste I had. Smiley I must have thrown back two bushels of 3-4 inch crabs.

Looking forward to getting out on the Pax River in about 2-3 weeks.  the reports are still a little to spotty to justify going out before then.

I launch across the river on the Western Side, across from Battle Creek.   Thats the area I grew up crabbing, since my grandmother lived on the water.

Agreed, Benedict is a tough launch when the tide is out. But it bugs me more when people sit in the launch in stead of moving their boats out of the way.
