Put in at 7, ran 30 traps with necks.  Various depths zero crabs.  One other boat on the water also left empty handed.  30mph winds and 44 with no crabs is no fun.  But the boat didn't break down.

Thanks for the report. I walked out on my crabbing pier in crab alley yesterday, felt the cold water and decided not to toss chicken in. I guess i made the right decision. Its nice seeing all the new reports and all the people back on the sight. I was quite around here all winter.

Two weeks ago when we had the warm, sunny stretch - the water temp on the bottom of my creek was 70*. Since then, with the cooler temps and no sun the temp has been 56*. This water is about 4'-6' and changes rapidly with the sun and air temps.
