Used pots and trot lines with snoods (new to me!) on Saturday, May 19th.

Launched out of Messick Point in Poquoson, VA.

There were four of us, so 8 pots soaking for 4 hours, plus running two 300-ft trotlines yielded about 3 dozen keepers.

Jimmies on the trotlines, sooks in the pots.

VERY windy (small craft advisory). Made navigating a challenge. We had 20 rings, but gave up on them because it was taking so much work to pull up on the rings correctly.

Full details here: Extreme Fishermen - Crabbing Report

PS - LOVE the snoods. It made a significant difference in how the crabs hang on the line.
