It was a nice evening and there was a late tide so I decided to check my lobster gear. Spring can bring some enjoyable days......warm, comfy and no biting insects. Fishing was fair. I got a even dozen bugs. I caught one special lobster tonite. I have not caught one this big in the canal in a long time. She is a hair under the state's max. harvest size. i iced them all up tonite and will be making lots of lobster salad tomorrow........

Nice job Rob.  Is there a limit you are allowed to catch?

What's the max harvest size, I assume it's a carapace measure? How big would that be roughly in pounds? I didn't realize that there were maximum size limits.
